Robert J.'s Latest Interactions
Bob and I had a special relationship. We had been raised in the same downtown church and when I transferred to Burt school in the 8th grade Bob was the only person I knew. We distantly kept in touch and our lives intersected again in later years as Bob's health deteriorated and we discovered some mutual friends. Though we led very different lives, our common secular humanist beliefs resulted in some great conversations those last few years. I really miss him.

Happy Birthday Bobby. As I recall we were both in Cub Scouts Den 4. It got too large so we were put in the new Den 9. The better baseball players were still in Den 4. Nevertheless we did get to watch The Lone Ranger on Thursdays during Den Meetings.

Bob:
I want to call you Bobby as I recall this from our Cub Scout days. I remember your house as we had meetings in your basement. You are so much younger than some of the rest of us, maybe this Bobby is somehow sort of appropriate.
Happy Birthday.
John, who lived just a few blocks north of you on Patton.
