Cyretta and Golda... Who had them in a class? What did you think?

I remember Golda-the bell had rung, we were all in our seats-and NO Miss Morford! For at least 5 minutes we sat there and some were talking about her, when she jumped out of the closet and pointed her finger at a guy and said " I heard that!" then walked up to her desk, and started class as if nothing goofy had happened. That woman was crazy!! Dick Hammer

I also remember her jumping out of the closet. Does anyone remember Mary Lou Murray? She taught History and was a friend of my folks. She was tough, but got the point across, definitly taught me how to outline and study.

I think I was in that class the day the Morford sister jumped out of the closet into the classroom.      What do you think she was doing in the 'closet'?

She had been my mother's teacher, and my aunt's teacher at Redford.  I guess it got to the sisters all those years.

I well remember having had Miss Morford for English.  She was demanding and we all seemed to be scared to death of her. I have to say though that when I was taking college English, I was thankful I'd had her.  She prepared me well.

I had never heard that she came out of the closet while the class was in the room.
Thought only Miss Doll did the closet thing.

I'm convinced that they both stayed in the teaching profession too long.
