Staying with Food Fair markets, I was an assistant mgr in 1960, a store mgr in 1965. In 1987 I purchased my own store: Maria's Bakery & Pizza; a convenience store with beer, wine, liquor, deli, bakery & pizza which I sold in 2001 and worked as a sales rep for a snack food company, until retiring in 2006.

Nothing outstanding, started working in 1957 to buy a 1951 Ford, which took all my time and money to keep running.

Attended Wayne State night school for 2 semesters, several correspondence courses offered from Cornell.

I have traveled to New England, California, Florida, plains states, Rocky mountains, Smoky mountains, Yellowstone, Grand Tetons, Grand Canyon, Southern Caribbean and ,of course, Las Vegas.
For my 65th birthday my family gave me a hot air balloon ride and for my retirement I got a float tube-a "belly boat" to fish from--fun. For my 73rd birthday they gave me a ride in a nascar at MIS; 170 mph!

I stayed right here in Michigan. Lived in Livonia after marrying and moved 3 miles down the road to Plymouth in 1972.
