DIXON MEREDITH A (2004-12-05)
Age 63, formerly of Westland, Michigan, passed away on November 15, 2004, at her home in Glen Mills, Pennsylvania. She is survived by her sister, Mrs. Lawrene (David) Ledgerwood, five nieces and a nephew. Miss Dixon graduated from Redford High School and retired from Detroit Edison. A Memorial Service will be held on December 10, 2004 at noon at Unity of Livonia. In lieu of flowers, family suggests contributions to Delaware Hospice, 3515 Silverside Rd, Wilmington, Delaware 19810 or The Colonial Williamsburg Foundation, P.O. Box 1776, Williamsburg, Virginia 23187-9910.

Meredith Dixon was a special and fun personality at Redford. I'm confident, given time, many others who knew her better and longer will be writing here. She was definitely someone I never forgot, having always a clear picture of her in my mind. I remember when I learned of her passing, it just shocked me...sometimes certain folks are just so full of life, you forget they won't live forever.I liked Meredith a lot, and throughout all these years, never once forgot her name, face, or any of the fun school memories she was a part of. As far as any of us knows, she never married, but how I wish we knew more about her life for posting here. I'm positive many others remember her too. For us, 'gone too soon' (though I do believe God doesn't make mistakes and has His purposes).
