Bruce Tracey....a Dear old Friend and One of the Burgess Ave Boys...4 houses down from my House on the Hill.We were Neighbors  from 1945  till 1963. After that it was occasional chats on the telephone and a reunion that featured Houghton and Burt Elem Schools as well...what a hoot that was!! Bruce was a go fast guy i.e Cars and his passion and skills with Unlimited Hydroplanes. Many of you Know that His,Dad Oswald, owned and operated Tracey's Gas station and what a boost that was for Bruce. I never saw him run hydros on the Detroit River, but spent many visits looking underneath the hood of a new heavy Chevy V-8...and with a 4 onthefloor gear shift; Whew!! ALL that and Bruce was a caring and generous Man. He is missed and I'm honored to know him.  Cameron aka Butch Howie
