Weston L. Schultz "Wes" , of Saline, Michigan, was born to the late Weston and Edith Schultz on January 18, 1942 in Detroit, Michigan. He passed away peacefully in Detroit, Michigan on October 12, 2012 with his family by his side at the age of 70.
Beloved husband of the late Elaine for over 30 years until her death in 2002. Loving father of Christopher (Christy) Schultz and Kurt (Tanya) Schultz. Dear "Papa"of Layne, Mykenzie, Cassidy, Jaidyn, Gracyn and Ryder. Survived by his sister Kay (Bill) Brown. Uncle of Mike Brown and Dave Brown.
Weston was lucky enough to find love a second time with his dearest companion, life partner and best friend, Ingrid Smart. He will also be missed by her children; Brit (Jeff) Fuchs and Kirstin Smart (Jamison Schultz).
Wes loved animals deeply and will be missed by their loyal dog Kay.
He was a self-employed mechanical engineer, solving complicated problems for other engineers in the automotive industry. He enjoyed spending time at the cottages in Port Sanilac and Hubbard Lake. He enjoyed long dinners complete with wine and good company. He loved to read and fall asleep while watching Red Wings Hockey.
Wes was an honest man who "called it like he saw it" and was proud of not having a "filter" on his words. He will be missed by all who knew him.
The family invites guests celebrate a life well lived. There will be a visitation on Friday October 19th, 2012 from 4pm to 8pm. On Saturday October 20, 2012, visiting will be from 10:00 am until the time of the service at 11:30 am.

Following the Saturday service, guests are invited to Rocky's of Northville for a luncheon.
