Basketball, bowling and golf were just three activities Joanne excelled at.  She was quite an athlete and a very humble person.  I was especially sad to see she had outlived both her children. Life can sure be cruel; may her soul live in peace forever.

Sorry to hear about Joanne's passing. She was a great athlete, not only basketball but also tennis. In this era of more women's sports, she might have played professionally. I emjkyed talking with her at the 50th reunion. She had many problems in her life and she overcame many obstacles. She will be missed.

I remember Joanne in High School when she was on crutches with a broken ankle. I carried her books for her from class to class. She was a very sweet person. Then a couple of years ago she attended on of our Tuesday lunches. I had a very nice conversation. We will miss you Joanne.  Ron

Joanne and I lived very  close to each other when she moved to the neighborhood in  7th grade and we became fast friends  We  used to  shoot hoops   in her back yard and play baseball in the street . I remember when we were at Vetal and when my mom was working we would   go (once in a while) to my house and had  a lunch of chocolate pudding and lemonade LOL. We  thought we were so bad. lol  (that would never be allowed. if  my mom was home. .) .. Some of you remember. crystal  pool on 8 mile and greenfield and we would do chores to make enough money to go .     Every year since then we  would meet for lunch in the summer and we always   had a nice time  I. will miss her   alot
