Dwight Rogers VIEW PROFILE

Dwight Rogers

ROGERS, DWIGHT ROY 71, of Wixom, Michigan, fun-loving husband, father and grandfather, passed away peacefully December 11, 2012, surrounded by family and friends. He was born August 1, 1941, in Detroit, MI, the son of the late Helen I. and Reuben R. Rogers. Dwight is survived by his wife, Judith;   daughters, Debra (Christopher) Shegich, Brenda (Brendan) Brosnan and Amanda Rogers; step sons Dale and Marc (Courtney) Collins; grandsons, Dylan and Chase Brosnan, Ryan Shegich and Reuben Collins; brother, Gordon (Karen) Rogers and many loving nieces and nephews. Visitation Saturday, December 15, 2012 from 10 a.m. until Memorial Service at 11 a.m. at Oak Pointe Church, 50200 West Ten Mile Road, Novi. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be given to the National Stroke Foundation (www.stroke.org). Please share a memory of Dwight in his guestbook at  www.cremationmichigan.com .

Laurie Gossett (Randall)

I remember Dwight as one who was often smiling, or provoking smiles in everyone else. He and Steve Stockmeyer, and others, were the class jokesters, singers, laughers. When I read the biography he wrote on this site for the class to read, his words bring all the antics back, like wetting the end of the paper on a straw and blowing it so it stuck to the ceiling. That just cracks me up.

So my thoughts go to his family and friends. We were lucky to have known him.
