Dale and I were good friends throughout high school. He had two brothers one older (Jerry) and one younger (Bruce). We used to play hockey on the Rouge River by the Redford Golf Course. We also used to drive to the family farm in Indiana and cut the weeds with a big tractor they kept in a barn. Had a lot of good times with Dale and his neighbor Robert Comstock Hunter. Dale was a great friend in high school and in the neighborhood. He always liked to work and had three jobs while still in high school. We played a lot of pick up sports and won a lot of games against other neighbohood kids. We played the five point gang in tackle football with no equipment, we would have won but they beat us up as they tackled us, but we will remember that game as a lot of fun. I will always miss Dale!
