Obituary for William Norman Gausden

Higgins Lake – William Norman Gausden, 75, died Friday May 27, 2016 at home following a lengthy illness.
He is survived by his wife, of 50 yrs, Margaret (Mines) Gausden, His daughter Debbie (John) Merrell, his son Dan Gausden, Brother Al (Debbie) Gausden, granddaughter Holly (Sara) Jarvis-Gordon, Grandson Justin Jarvis, and Granddaughters Samantha Reuter, Savannah and Porscha Merrell; and many nieces and nephews.

William was born and raised in Detroit Michigan. The son of Arthur and Vera June Gausden; who preceded him in death as well as his son Robert Gausden. His brother Ronnie and Larry also preceded him in death.
In his early years he worked as a paint clerk for the J.L.Hudson Company where he met Margaret and married her on November 6, 1965 at Central Northwest Presbyterian Church in Southfield, MI. That same year he started work with Ford Motor Company’s Wixom, MI plant where he retired after 30 plus years as a dedicated U.A.W. worker and Quality Control Inspector.

Funeral Services and viewing will be held on Wednesday, June 1st. Viewing for family starts at 10 am with regular viewing from 11-1pm with funeral service starting at 1pm. The Services/viewing will take place at Grace Covenant fellowship Church 405 W. Higgins Lake Rd. Roscommon, MI.
