Paraprofessional Teacher's Aide in an elementary school for 13 years.

Taught piano and organ lessons in a music store for 2 - 3 years.

Taught piano in my home for close to 30 years.

I remember lugging all my books around, rushing to my classes, sharing my locker with Lyn Childress.
I loved my sorority, Alpha Phi Omega. We had so much fun together!
I'll never forget old Mrs. Doll (English teacher) making us all memorize all the Parts of Speech and having to recite them in front of the class.

I spent one year at Grace Hospital School of Nursing and attended WSU.
After marrying Ron we attended EMU and lived in married student housing. I was President of the EMU Dames.
Later after having 2 children, I attended and completed Schoolcraft College Piano Teacher Certification Program.

We have always lived in this area and been fortunate to have our kids live fairly close so we can see and enjoy our grandkids. We have many wonderful memories of getting together to enjoy holidays and meals. It's been rewarding to be able to watch the kids grow up and enjoy being with them.
We have done some traveling. When our kids were younger we visited many of our beautiful national parks. Yellowstone stands out as a favorite. I went to Europe with my son's unicycle club for a month and went to Germany, Austria, etc. Ron and I had a lovely trip east to Maine's Acadia National Park, Montreal, New Brunswick, and Cape Breton Island. More recently we have loved going to Alaska twice.

We have lived right in this area. We lived in Highland, South Lyon and now in Brighton.

We spent some time in Florida last winter.

I attended the Saturday Night Banquet at the Embassy Suites Hotel
