Penelope "Penny" Jane (Albert) Wilkie 

1941-2003

Penelope "Penny" Jane Wilkie of Rochester Hills died May 21, 2023 surrounded by her loving family, age 81.                                                                         
Penny was born in Detroit to Walter Dale and Thelma Albert. She met the love of her life Glen and they were married September 3, 1960. She was eager to be a mom and they were blessed with four children. Penny centered her life around family and was very involved in the lives of all 10 of her grandchildren; especially attending and helping in their sports and activities.                                                                                                                              
Penny enjoyed singing in a Girls Trio, playing piano, knitting, and most of all swimming. She taught many of her grandchildren how to swim and took every chance she could to get in the water. Penny had many friends and enjoyed driving them to swimming, knitting them blankets, and making meals for them.                                                                                                                                                                                               
Beloved wife of Glen Wilkie for 62 years. Loving mother of Wendy Cline, Jill Brown, Jennifer Wilkie, and Dale Wilkie (Dawn). Devoted grandmother of Jeff Realy (Emily), Scott Realy (Leena), Rebecca Mancuso (Ben), Samuel Cline, Kayla Wilkie, Victoria Donnelly (Sam), Joseph Cline, Megan Wilkie, Gerrit Wilkie, and the late Justin Brown. Dear great grandmother of Nikhil and Krishna Realy. Caring sister of the late Walter Dale Albert II (Patricia). Also preceded in death by her parents Walter Dale Albert, Sr. and Thelma Albert.
